Reviews: Low cost subsidiary of QANTAS. Very comfortable leather seats in the widest 3 abreast seating arrangements flying in Australia. No-frills airline with superb user-pays inflight service including "video on demand." A320's used for domestic services, A330's for international destinations.

All A320's are recent deliveries from the factory in Toulouse replacing the Boeing 717's that were first used when the airline launched two years ago. This airline services the major tourist destination centres in Australia with new routes to southeast Asia, Japan and Hawaii starting in early November 2006. Although it may be the "no frills" subsidiary of that awful Aussie airline QANTAS, I was unable to fault anything at all. Left on time at 1400 (Aust) but a slight detour for weather over the South China Sea meant we were 25 minutes late into Saigon. Cabin crew were tidy, attentive and polite. Aircraft (VH-EBB) itself was clean. Meals ($25) weren't all that large, but were tasty....even the pie for 'supper'. The CHC-SYD-CHC legs of the journey on the A320-232 were as to be expected, with the cabin staff also tidy, attentive and polite.
Cheap ... yes
No frills .... yes
Fly with them again .... YES !
