Vueling Airlines

| ICAO: | VLG |

| Information: | We don't have an overview for this airline just quite yet. Check back often, though, as we are continually updating our airline information! |
| Reviews: | I'm writing to let you know of my bad experience with this airline. My flight was scheduled to leave on July 7, 2007, at 8:50am. After a 6 hour delay, the flight was finally cancelled. No explanation was given to us as there was no Vueling representative at the airport (Marco Polo). This is understable given that it's an LCC, but my problems extend past this.
I have since found out that there were gas problems on our plane and this is why it could not come to the airport. Speaking with one other (would-be) passenger, her flight with Vueling the day before was delayed about 6 hours as well. Here are the details of this series of unfortunate events: To start with, no contact information was provided to passengers regarding refunds, hotel compensation, transportation compensation, or even how to get our luggage (the airport said it was on the tarmac and they weren't sure who should get it, suggesting that we get it!). Vueling had given the airport zero information regarding what happened and how passengers were to go about their problems. I needed to catch a connecting plane shortly thereafter, and was forced to pay a costly fee to Air France to bring me into Paris. To make things that much more unacceptable, I still have yet to receive an apology e-mail or any communication at all. I have sent them an e-mail 24 hours ago and there has yet to be a response. I'm hoping there will be soon. For what it's worth, do not spend your money on Vueling. |
